Why Used Cars?
"Answers About Buying Used Cars"
Why Used Cars?

Buying a used car can be the best money saving decision you make all year.
Used cars have many advantages over new cars that are demonstrated here.

Price
It goes without saying that the number one reason to choose a used car over a
new car is based on price.  New Cars cost more, much more than used cars do.

Quality
You can get a 2 year old Toyota for the price of a brand new Kia.  This is not to
say the folks at Kia don’t make good cars, because they may.  This is to say
however that, Toyota makes better ones.  If you have a set budget with which to
buy your next car, it makes more sense to get a better used car instead of a lower
quality new car.

Investment
With the rare exception of classic & collectable cars, a vehicle will loose some
value every day you own it and every mile you drive it.  This is true especially
during the cars first year in use when it’s value will fall fast and hard.  The real
“market” for cars is the market for used cars.  New cars are priced by the factory
and the dealerships based on the decisions of marketers and consumer
scientsts.  Used cars are priced by an actual market of individual buyers and
sellers.

Worry
Have you ever driven a new car?  Where do you park it at the supermarket?  The
far end of the lot, if you are anything like me.  People are generally more anxious
about new cars, than they are about used cars.  This New Car Anxiety leads to a
decreased enjoyment.  Why worry?  Get yourself a used car and enjoy it.  If it gets
a small scratch in the parking lot, who cares?  You can use the car and not worry
about it.
